The Spigot is the entry-level freighter from longtime partner of the Dugall Freight Company, MCH-DS. This surprisingly quick and economical container-mover is a favorite among upstarts and veteran longhaulers alike. To the former for its relative affordability and to the latter for its well-seasoned design, perfectly balancing mass and power. This is as limber as freight gets and if the payload allows, it's often the preferred craft over its larger compatriots. Usage of the Spigot peaked during the Freight Wars as the largest of the freighters were targeted first by Round Power's infamous EVA sieges. With their fleet depleted, Dugall relied on their smaller craft to keep supply chains intact. It was in this venue where they earned their reputation for speed and agility and became favored by pilots for their ability to plot stealthier lines through enemy space. While no small object, the Spigot is still the runt of the freight lineup and as such, many were flipped into the drifter markets after the conflict subsided. Nowaways, a Spigot is more likely operated by an independent merchant than a Dugall contractor.
